LHHR: Public Service Commission assessment tools aligned with new competency profiles (18-06)

The Public Service Commission continues to update its suite of assessment tools to reflect changes made to the Key Leadership Competencies Profile by the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer, and to the renewed Personnel Administration (PE) Competency Profile by the Human Resources Council.

As of May 22, 2018, the assessment tools listed below will be available.

Simulations aligned with the Key Leadership Competency profile:

  • Supervisor Simulation Exercise (428)
  • Team Leader Simulation (445)
  • Assessment Centre for the Identification of Middle Management Potential

Simulation aligned with the PE Competency Profile:

  • Human Resources Consultant Simulation (410)

We continue to support federal departments and agencies with their staffing and assessment needs. Public service managers and human resources specialists can consult our Personnel Psychology Centre free of charge to learn more about using these and other tools to assess competencies, whether for selection or development.
